The James family is going through a period of change.
Just two years ago, Savannah and LeBron saw Bronny leave for college. Last year, he joined the Akron Hammer and was selected in the second round of the draft by the team where his father shines, the Los Angeles Lakers. Now it’s Bryce James‘ turn, who has already committed to the University of Arizona.
These changes mean a new rearrangement in the family dynamic, with trips to visit them likely to become more frequent, leaving only little Zhuri at home. However, this could be a new opportunity for the couple and their professional careers.
Together since high school, Savannah shared her feelings about the codependency she felt when their relationship began and as it progressed, and her fear that this would affect her social health in the recent episode of her podcast “Everybody’s Crazy.”
Being in a relationship super young and like doing all the things, like having babies and stuff, there is a co-dependency and like a feeling of like you can’t, like I can’t really make no moves without this person… Like I want to make sure that I’m available to be able to do all the things that he’s doing.
Although she didn’t feel that way at the time, after reflecting on it, Savannah revealed that she seems to be stuck there: “I’m kind of not even finding out what I like to do,” she confessed.
Savannah’s empire
Despite her podcast and using her platforms to empower other girls and women around the world, the 38-year-old entrepreneur has stated that she wants to do her part to leave a better world for her daughter Zhuri.
In fact, it was her daughter who inspired her to found her skincare brand “Reframe Beauty.” However, Savannah has not done things that are usually considered everyday or simple: “I don’t go out to eat and stuff like that. I’m not there yet. I’m not that mature. But like she was saying, like to be in a house, I don’t think it’s weird to go out by myself. I just haven’t gotten there yet,” James said.
In response, her co-host, April McDaniel, suggested that she try organizing a charity lunch, but to keep Savannah’s mind occupied while her son enters college life. And she accepted! What’s more, she said she would do it the following month.
Without a doubt, a new era is dawning in Savannah James’ life.
