In September 2022, the family grew, as they welcomed their second child, whom they named Saquon Jr.
After six years with the Giants, Barkley joined the Eagles for 2024 where he had a spectacular season.
How did the relationship between Saquon Barkley and Anna Congdon come about?
The couple met while attending Penn State. Anna is a native of Forest City, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Forest City Regional High School, where she was captain of the girls’ basketball team
She graduated from high school in June 2016 and met Barkley when she arrived at Penn State, before the player became a college star. The couple was caught at a Pi Kappa Phi fraternity graduation party in December 2016 and by February 2017
About his children, Jada Clare is a big supporter of her dad, sends him messages of support in his important matches and has been one of the great blessings in the player’s life: “I feel honored and blessed to have a daughter in Jada and to be able to be a father and I always have to try to set the standard for her because her image of man is going to move away from me,” he wrote in a post about her birth
In September 2022, with the birth of Saquon Jr., the running back said he is a “beautiful baby”. He added: “He lights up the room. He has an amazing smile. Jada is being an amazing big sister. Anna, obviously, an amazing mother. We have a beautiful little family”.
Anna is currently a prominent figure on social media, with more than 130,000 followers on Instagram and more than 5,000 on Twitter, where she is more active, posting messages of support for her partner
In addition, she has been instrumental in the professional development of her partner, who left his studies to enter the NFL Draft. However, Anna motivated him to finish his studies in May 2022. “Everyone pushed me,” he said. “My parents pushed me to get it done, Anna pushed me to get it done… and I felt happy that I got it done.”
