Ryan Yarbrough hides a ring that everyone would show off, but his reasons have been the right ones

In professional sports, it is not only common to see players jumping in the off-season, but it is also obligatory, as it is a time when teams look for the best exponents to try to strengthen their squads for a new tournament.

However, it is much less common for the scenario that recently adds an element of intrigue to the reunion of the protagonists of the last World Series in Major League Baseball.

A ‘difficult’ position

After pitching for the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers last season, Ryan Yarbrough is now doing so for the New York Yankees, after signing a one-year, $2 million contract. The fact that he stood on the mound for the Angels last season gave Yarbrough the right to own a World Series ring

The current MLB champions had not given the left-handed pitcher that witness to his work on the mound last year, so they took advantage of his presence at Dodger Stadium for the three-game series with the Yankees to present him with the ring, which barely showed its brilliance before it was stowed away in the locker, more out of decency with his current teammates in the Bombers

Dodgers open series with big win

The three games that revive the duel of last year’s World Series opened Friday night at the Chavez Ravine colossus, where the Los Angeles Dodgers won a great game against the Yankees by a score of 8-5. The series continues Saturday with Will Warren and Landon Knack as possible starters.

Fortunately, Ryan Yarbrough did not see action and did not have to make any kind of justification to his current teammates in the defeat, but that scenario could happen on Sunday, as he is being considered by manager Aaron Boone. It will be him or Carlos Rodon who will start game three.
