Ryan Garcia resolves a ‘misunderstanding’ and his corner will be strengthened by an ‘old acquaintance’

Recent information in the environment of Ryan Garcia makes his fans even more excited about the upcoming fight against Devin Haney, after their first clash resulted in a ‘no contest’ after the positive test for ostarine by the native of Victorville, California, a fact that sidelined him from the ring for a year.

Much has been said and written about doping, punishment and the reasons given by both fighters during a tortuous path of bickering that came to nothing and on the contrary, fueled the rivalry between them even more, especially because Ryan claims to be better than Haney, and as proof he has the fact that he made him bite the canvas on that occasion.

With the end of Ryan’s punishment in sight, negotiations for a possible ‘replacement’ fight between the two are going well, and it is particularly Ryan Garcia who is showing more joy, because thanks to a decision he had postponed he could have in his corner a factor that can help him categorically defeat Haney.

Differences between Eddy Reynoso and KingRyan were clarified

In a video by Millcity Boxing, Ryan Garcia’s father, Henry Garcia, revealed that his son will meet with Canelo Alvarez’s lifelong trainer, Eddy Reynoso, from whom Ryan split in 2022 due to a misunderstanding that has already been resolved

In retrospect, Garcia would have left Reynoso after he arrived with very little notice for the fight Ryan had with Emmanuel Tagoe, so he asked his representative to get him another trainer, so he ended up in the hands of Joe Goossen. That’s all behind him now, and Reynoso will be in Ryan’s corner from now on.

Everything is set for Garcia vs Haney 2, all that remains is for Garcia to defeat Rolando Romero and Haney to do the same with Jose Ramirez on the same card next May in New York for the eagerly awaited rematch to become a reality.
