Ryan Garcia reacted immediately to Isaac Cruz‘s fight against Angel Fierro, where the former won by unanimous decision in Las Vegas on the card headlined by David Benavidez and David Morrell.

The judges’ scorecards favored Pitbull Cruz, who improved to 27-3-1, with scores of 96-94, 97-93 and 98-92, in his return to victory after his surprise defeat to Jose ‘Rayo’ Valenzuela in August 2024.

Ryan Garcia: “Pitbull Cruz is a sitting duck”

Prior to this fight between Cruz and Tashiro Fierro (23-3-2), there was talk that Ryan Garcia could face Pitbull in May in New York, when he returns from his one-year suspension for the use of banned substances.

Garcia went so far as to call Isaac Cruz a tougher opponent than Devin Haney, but now he does not have good words for the Mexican fighter.

“Cruz is a practice shot,” King Ryan posted on X, who also shared the post from boxing specialist Dan Canobbio, where he says that “Ryan Garcia would have sent Pitbull to the realm of shadows.”

What did Pitbull Cruz say about Ryan Garcia?

When Pitbull Cruz was asked about his upcoming fights, with the names of Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis, the Mexican declared himself ready for anything.

“We hope that in about two or three weeks we will sit down to talk with Sean Gibbons (promoter) and see what’s next. You already saw that against runners, against fencers, against all kinds of fights we endured 10 or 12 rounds without any problem,” he replied.
