Russell Wilson shocks fans on social media and sends a warning to Jaxson Dart – What Shedeur Sanders dodged

With each passing day, Russell Wilson is increasingly confirmed as the main quarterback for the New York Giants. The 2014 Super Bowl winner with the Seattle Seahawks has been 100% committed to the franchise since he signed-and even before that, he had already shown interest in everything surrounding the Big Apple’s team.

The New York Giants made a complete 180-degree turn at the quarterback position. After the Daniel Jones experiment collapsed, the team, led by Brian Daboll, signed two quarterbacks in free agency-Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. They also kept Tommy DeVito from last season and selected Jaxson Dart in the recent NFL Draft.

It’s clear that Jaxson Dart is seen as the future of the franchise. The Giants passed on Shedeur Sanders and even traded up in the first round to select Dart with the 24th overall pick. Dart will have to wait for now, but we’ll likely see him starting at some point during the season.

Russell Wilson impresses on Giants’ Social Media

The New York Giants’ social media accounts have been very active with Russell Wilson. At least during OTAs and the team’s mandatory minicamp, the quarterback has shown that even at 36 years old, he still has a lot of talent left.

The Giants have posted videos of Wilson connecting with Jalin Hyatt, Tyrone Tracy Jr., and Darius Slayton-high-quality throws that could help unleash the full potential of these players, who in previous years had very little chemistry with Daniel Jones.

It’s clear that Russell Wilson will be the Giants’ starter, especially considering the tough schedule ahead. The team opens with two road games against the Washington Commanders and the Dallas Cowboys, followed by home games against the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers.

However, it’s also very clear that the real long-term project for the team is Jaxson Dart. At some point, the New York Giants-and especially Brian Daboll-will have to put him on the field to see what the former Ole Miss quarterback has in the tank. If the team endures another poor season, both Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen could find their jobs on the line.
