Ricky Martin reminded fans that age has not slowed him down, and he did it on one of the biggest stages in sports.

The 54-year-old music star drew attention ahead of Super Bowl LX after posting a video that showed him in peak physical condition while getting ready to perform as a surprise guest during the halftime show.

In the video shared on social media, Martin appeared visibly muscular and lean as he prepared backstage, quickly sparking reactions across the internet. The clip surfaced just hours before he joined the halftime spectacle, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the singer’s preparation and highlighting his fitness at 54 years old.

The Halftime Show stood out

Super Bowl LX was played Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, featuring the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots in the championship game that capped the 2025-26 NFL season. As usual, the halftime show stood as one of the most anticipated moments of the night.

The performance was headlined by Bad Bunny, who took the stage shortly after winning the Grammy Award for Album of the Year for Debí tirar más fotos. His set blended visual production with multiple Latin music styles and unfolded amid a charged political climate, following his public disagreements with President Donald Trump over immigration policy.

The show’s biggest surprise came with guest appearances by Lady Gaga and Martin, both of whom joined Bad Bunny onstage. Their involvement elevated the performance and underscored the global reach of Latin music. Bad Bunny also made history by becoming the first artist to perform an entire Super Bowl halftime show exclusively in Spanish, a first in the event’s six-decade history.

While the music made headlines, Martin‘s pre-show video added an extra talking point to the night, showing that more than three decades into his career, the singer remains both performance-ready and physically elite on one of sports’ biggest nights.
