Barcelona held its first session in Japan, where it will play the friendly match against Vissel Kobe. In training, Marcus Rashford, the great signing of the Catalan club, confirmed his great talent.

The Blaugrana worked at the Noevir Stadium Kobe. The 30 players who make up the Blaugrana squad took to the pitch: 24 from the first team, five youth players and the young reinforcement Roony Bardghji. Flick has had to reorganise the planning of the work because of the suspension, which was later temporary, of the trip to Japan due to the contractual breach of the promoters. This setback was not to the coach’s liking, as the cancellation occurred just over 12 hours before the trip, which was previously scheduled for Thursday. They finally took the plane on Friday.

Rashford

The England international, a major signing this summer, confirmed to his teammates that he is in good shape and ready to join the Blaugrana team. It does not seem likely, however, that he will play on Sunday in the friendly match against Vissel Kobe, as he has only participated in a couple of training sessions.

Laporta

The session in Kobe was closely followed by the Barca president, who has a busy schedule with representative and institutional events. Also with Hansi Flick’s side were vice-president Rafa Yuste and advisor Alejandro Echevarria.

At Barcelona’s training session in Japan, Hiroshi Mikitani, CEO and founder of Rakuten, the company that owns Vissel Kobe, was also present. The intervention of the president of Barcelona’s rival on Sunday was decisive for the Catalan team to finally travel to the Asian country, although a day late, as he helped to solve the payment problems with the promoter.
