He is one of the most active targets that Patrick Mahomes has in the Kansas City Chiefs offense, right after Travis Kelce, but after an injury suffered in a collision with his quarterback, wide receiver Rashee Rice now has been sidelined for a long while.
With that said, this is a big opportunity for him to try and get back to his feet off the football field. The second-year man can concentrate in resolving his eight pending felony charges and to serve a possible suspension that the league could give him.
All this because of street-racing incident in March 2024 in Dallas. The league is still evaluating the situation but he might want to start concentrating on the legal matter he has in hand, considering his knee injury will take time to heal.
Dealing with the situation
Rashee Rice has a torn ACL and won’t play again in this 2024 season, so dealing with everything heh as to seems like it’s the only thing that makes sense while recovering and doing rehab.
The Kansas City Chiefs will have to give him advice and counseling on the matter, but there is no secret in saying that this could be a distraction from football and since he won’t be playing, he might want to get to it.
The main goal is to come back in 2025 with nothing else on his mind but football and leave any legal issues he might have in the past. Of course the question is, can he make a strong return in his third year with the Chiefs? Only time will tell.
