Randy Arozarena surprises in Mexico: this is how he thanked the coaches who forged his career

Randy Arozarena had a tremendous year in Major League Baseball with the Seattle Mariners, an organization that managed to reach the American League Championship Series. However, the Cuban-Mexican now visited Merida, Yucatan, and thanked Carlos Perez and Edwin Solis Ballote, coaches who trained him from his early days in Mexico and accompanied him in his development before reaching professional baseball.

According to local media reports, Arozarena gave a new car to each of his coaches in Yucatan, the images quickly went viral on social networks for what was a thank you to his coaches who implemented discipline, physical preparation and competitive mentality; being the bases that guided him to later become a Major League star.

The vehicles that Randy Arozarena gave away are a Geely Emgrand model, valued at around $19,000, and were delivered as part of a thank you from the Mexican to Carlos Perez, a batting specialist, and Edwin Solis, in charge of his physical and mental training.

Arozarena is now one of the most outstanding Mexicans in MLB and throughout his career he has shown that he is grateful to all those who contributed to achieving his dream, so the gift of the cars to his coaches who trained him has been an act of gratitude.

Randy Arozarena’s great year in Major League Baseball with the Seattle Mariners

The 2025 season was one of the best in Randy Arozarena’s Major League Baseball career, as he hit 27 home runs, 76 RBIs, 95 runs scored and 31 stolen bases. He was the Mexican player with the most home runs in 2025 and a key player for the Mariners to reach the American League Championship Series.

In addition, Randy played in his second All-Star Game and is one of the key figures for the Mexican National Team in the World Baseball Classic. Now the Mexican is preparing for a new season where he will have to maintain his level to guide his Seattle Mariners to a new postseason and fight for their first World Series that Toronto stole from them in seven games.
