Kings of the NFC East, the Eagles will begin their journey for a repeat on Thursday, September 4th, when they face their arch rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, at Lincoln Financial Field. They will also raise their banner during that game.
For Week 2, Philadelphia will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to face the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of Super Bowl LIX, a game that many believed will be one of the best battles of the 2025 regular season, with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Andy Reid looking to avenge their blow out.
Philadelphia Eagles dream house is on the market
A viral video showcases a dream house for any Philadelphia Eagles fan, with the crib looking like a must have to show off. The front of the house has an Eagles giant logo, which makes as big statement for anyone who happens to pass by it.
The bedroom includes cardboard cutouts of Philadelphia Eagles superstars, matching with a green wall, a quilt, pillows, a chair, a light, and a carpet. All of the items, of course, with the team’s mascot. The living room includes a green sofa, some Eagles jerseys hanging on the wall, and all kind of memorabilia worth having, if the person that’s willing to buy the house is a huge Philadelphia follower.
Of course, the exuberance of the house sparked comments in social media. “I consider myself a die hard Eagles and Philly sports fan. But I am not a mental lunatic,” an X user wrote. “Born and raised in Philly… diehard Eagles fan. This is ridiculous lol. I’d need to be on their payroll to live here,” another one added. “”I love the Eagles but hell no. I’m not trying to live in the Novacare complex. One room decked out is good,” another X user commented.
The Eagles will play on prime-time at least five times
The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Washington Commanders twice over the final three weeks of the season. The last time the division rivals squared off was in the 2024 NFC Championship Game, when Philadelphia set an NFL conference championship record with 55 points scored.
The Eagles have at least five scheduled prime-time games for the fourth straight year. Philadelphia has appeared in the second-most prime-time games (109, tied) in the NFL since 2000. Two of those games will be against the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Another game that promises to bring a lot of excitement to the NFL fans is the Week 11 match against the Detroit Lions at Lincoln Financial Field, with some considering it the game of the year for a variety of reasons. It’s in the middle of the season, when the really good teams start to rev up for the postseason run.
