Although there is still a long way to go before the World Baseball Classic takes place, rumors are already beginning to circulate behind the scenes about who could be part of the United States team and, among them, the name of Pete Crow-Armstrong stands out. He would join Aaron Judge and company in an attempt to take the crown away from Shohei Ohtani’s country

Certainly, there were doubts at the start of the season about Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong. Instead of worrying about them, the youngster has proven to be one of the best players in Major League Baseball, and it’s hard to keep ignoring him with the great performances he’s shown.

Pete Crow-Armstrong opened in the 2025 MLB All-Star Game

When asked if he wants to play for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic in 2026, Crow-Armstrong admitted that he would be willing if asked, noting that he played for other USA teams when he was younger. “Absolutely, without a doubt,” he said.

The outfielder said he has been on really good American teams, so, “Absolutely! I would say yes without thinking twice. Any position. Any role. I would just go catch the ball,” he said. Crow-Armstrong was one of the starters for the National League All-Star team on Tuesday, and it is well deserved.
