Randi wants to defend women against transgender athletes, something she considers simple common sense. In an interview with Tirralan Watkin on the “MOMetize Your Passion” podcast, Randi made her position on the participation of trans athletes in women’s sports clear.

“Personally, since I’ve been a woman and a girl, and I’ve participated in mixed-gender teams throughout my life and just had fun playing sports… there’s a big difference between men and women,” Randi Mahomes said. She then used her life experiences to argue for the need to promote equity in women’s sports.
And as a woman, I think it’s not a fair matchup. I love everyone, but in terms of physical strength and just our DNA, I don’t think it’s fair, because I have a daughter and a son,” she added. “I think there’s a difference in DNA, unfortunately or fortunately. And I think women really need to be with women, and men with men”.
