Chiefs take full control in dominant third quarter
Patrick Mahomes continued to showcase his precision and leadership, connecting over the middle with Tyquan Thornton for an 11-yard touchdown. Harrison Butker remained perfect, adding the extra point to extend the Chiefs’ lead and keep momentum firmly on their side.
The Baltimore Ravens tried to stay within reach, as Tyler Loop converted a 32-yard field goal. However, Kansas City quickly answered back with another strong drive, capped off by a 31-yard field goal from Butker, solidifying the Chiefs’ dominance in the third quarter.
Final quarter seals the victory for the Kansas City Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes opened the third quarter with precision, connecting on a 15-yard touchdown pass to Hollywood Brown just 13:20 into the period. Harrison Butker added the extra point to extend Kansas City’s lead. However, the Ravens quickly answered back, as Justice Hill broke free for a stunning 71-yard touchdown run, and Tyler Loop’s successful extra point.
The Kansas City Chiefs celebrated an important and, more importantly, convincing victory over the Baltimore Ravens. With renewed confidence, they now turn their focus to the next challenge, a Monday Night Football showdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 6.
