Patrick Mahomes continues to make waves during the NFL offseason – not just on the golf course, but now in the sneaker world.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, a three-time Super Bowl champion, has teamed up once again with Adidas for the latest release in his signature shoe collection.
Unveiled on Monday, the Mahomes 2 “Fairway” edition draws inspiration from Mahomes‘ love of golf, a sport he regularly plays during his downtime.
Adidas announced the new colorway via a joint post with Mahomes on Instagram, writing: “Time to hit some Fairways! Introducing the @patrickmahomes 2 ‘Fairway’ colorway, inspired by Patrick’s love for golf .”
Mahomes himself shared the announcement in an Instagram Story, fueling excitement among fans eager to get their hands on the stylish new drop.
Known for his unique sense of style and growing presence off the football field, Mahomes is carving out a distinct lane in fashion and lifestyle branding.
Family praise, growing collection, and a friendly closet rivalry
Mahomes‘ latest sneaker release didn’t go unnoticed by those closest to him. His father, former MLB pitcher Pat Mahomes Sr., showed his support by commenting on the post: “Nice. Great job.”
The family has long celebrated each other’s milestones, and the elder Mahomes has often been seen cheering on his son at games and events.
Travis Kelce, Mahomes‘ longtime teammate and close friend, also gave a nod of approval with fire emojis, just another example of the tight-knit culture within the Chiefs’ locker room.
The two stars often support each other’s off-field endeavors, and Mahomes‘ growing presence in the sneaker world is just one more success Kelce is proud to back.
The Mahomes-Adidas partnership began in 2017, the year before he took over as the Chiefs’ starting quarterback.

“The shoe room has been something that I’ve wanted for the last six-seven years at least,” Mahomes told Bleacher Report. “I’m extremely pumped. I’ve been hyping it up for weeks.”
However, the shoe collection has led to a playful rivalry at home. Brittany Mahomes, his wife and co-owner of the Kansas City Current NWSL team, once joked, “All of his shoes have been all over the house… I was trying to make my shoe closet, and it didn’t work out so well. So, now we are here.”
