Patrick Mahomes’ half-sister Mia makes her mother Randi cry over something she can’t control

While NFL star Patrick Mahomes continues to make headlines on the gridiron, his youngest sister, Mia Randall, is stepping into the spotlight in her own right. The 13-year-old has wrapped up her final year at All Saints Episcopal School in Tyler, Texas, and is now officially on her way to high school.

The moment wasn’t lost on their mother, Randi Mahomes, who shared a touching tribute to Mia on Instagram to commemorate the milestone. In a photo filled with pride and personality, Mia stands smiling next to a celebratory sign that reads: “Mia is the BEST! Class of 2029.”.

Randi, standing proudly beside her daughter in a white blouse with ruffled sleeves and dark gray pants, looked every bit the proud mom.

“It’s hard to believe my baby girl is headed to high school. Watching @miablissss grow into such a smart, strong, and beautiful young lady has been the sweetest journey,” Randi wrote in the caption. “Time, please slow down!! I’m so proud of you, Mia, and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do next.”

Carrying the Mahomes athletic legacy into the next generation

Known for her multi-sport talents, Mia Randall isn’t just entering high school-she’s doing so with an athletic resume that rivals many older students.

Over the years, she’s participated in basketball, soccer, volleyball, tennis, softball, swimming, football, and even skateboarding. Back in 2021, Mia received the “Awesome Athlete” award, cementing her reputation as a young competitor with big potential.

Mia’s passion for sports comes as no surprise. She shares her athletic roots with older half-brothers Patrick and Jackson Mahomes. Despite a 16-year age gap between Patrick and Mia, their bond is a close and genuine one.

“I was so nervous they wouldn’t know each other… but they know each other. It’s a fun relationship,” Randi told People.

Patrick and his wife Brittany Mahomes are also active in Mia’s life, often supporting her on and off the field.

“Patrick and Brittany are always keeping tabs on what Mia’s doing,” Randi said. “Brittany is like your sister, not just your sister-in-law. She loves my children as much as I love them.”

Mia can often be spotted cheering at Chiefs games, including her brother’s Super Bowl triumphs and the 2024 AFC Championship.
