Brittany Mahomes just gave fans a first look at baby Golden – and the family couldn’t look happier.
On Thursday, June 12, the Kansas City Current co-owner posted a new series of photos on Instagram alongside husband Patrick Mahomes, finally showing the face of their 5-month-old daughter, Golden Raye. Brittany had been intentional about keeping her youngest daughter out of the spotlight, even clarifying in March – after a video clip from a training session with Nike’s Betina Gozo Shimonek – that the baby in view wasn’t Golden, but another child. “Golden is in the stroller you can’t see her and won’t for a while ,” she wrote at the time.
The shift this week marks a new chapter for the Mahomes family, now comfortable sharing more with their growing fanbase. Their announcement back in January was subtle but meaningful: a black-and-white photo showing Golden’s tiny feet and a wooden plaque bearing her name.
Brittany recently opened up about her third birth experience during an episode of the WHOOP Podcast, where host Will Ahmed noted that Patrick had called her “competitive” when it came to labor. She didn’t deny it.
“Every birth, I got better,” Brittany laughed. “My push time decreased. I keep track, like, ‘Okay, we beat seven minutes, now five. Let’s go.'”
