Spiranac recalls interesting Tiger Woods encounter
Beyond her business ambitions, the 32-year-old has also shared personal moments and insights about her experience in the sport, such as memorable encounters with golf legends – including Tiger Woods.
“The greatest experience of my life,” Spiranac said, recounting a chipping lesson with Woods. “He smells so good, by the way… like that was the first thing I noticed.
“I remember he hugged me, and he smelled so good, and I didn’t take my jacket off or wash it for an embarrassing long time because I was like, ‘I feel and smell like a winner.'”
As Woods recovers from Achilles surgery and is unlikely to compete in major tournaments during 2025, fans and players alike continue to respect his legacy. Meanwhile, the current PGA season has seen Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler claim early major victories, setting the stage for an exciting year in golf.
The next major will be the US Open at the Oakmont Country Club, Oakmont, Pennsylvania. It will be held from July 12-15. Bryson DeChambeau is the defending champion after claiming his second title in 2024.
