What seemed like a simple collaboration to show off her apparel during the 2025 WNBA Draft didn’t stop there.
Paige Bueckers caused a sensation during the event, not only for her No. 1 pick with Dallas Wings, but also for her custom three-piece suit with crystal embellishments from Coach. Now, the brand has decided to launch a campaign alongside four more rookies, whom it also dressed at the Draft: Hailey Van Lith, Aneesah Morrow, Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen.
Taking to her official Instagram account, Paige shared a video in which she is seen sporting a Coach outfit as she dazzled while posing and throwing the ball. “Just be real – and let everyone else think what they want @Coach #CourageToBeReal #CoachxWNBA #CoachPartner” she wrote.
And it should come as no surprise if these types of campaigns keep repeating themselves, as this all comes after Coach officially became the WNBA’s luxury handbag partner in April of this year.
Fans’ reaction
It didn’t take long for fans to put their admiration and affection for Bueckers on display.
Quickly the publication of the 23-year-old was filled with “likes” and comments like: “MY WNBA ROOKIE OF THE YEAR”, “‘just be real’ best message and looking classy”, “the best at basketball and the best at fashion”.
The rookie is sidelined after suffering a head injury that caused her to miss Dallas’ 94-83 loss to Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky. Meanwhile, she is expected to overcome concussion protocol and return to the team on Friday against Los Angeles Sparks.
For this reason, some fans also left her their best wishes in the comments and let her know that they are eager to see her back in action: “Hope you got some much needed rest! Hoping to see you back on the court for Friday’s game”, said one user, “We need you back on that court, get well soon!!!”, wrote another, “Can’t wait to see the comeback on the court” commented another follower.
In six career games in Dallas, Bueckers has averaged 14.7 points, 6.7 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game.
