Amid rumors of a possible breakup, it’s Azzi Fudd who has spoken openly about her girlfriend, Dallas Wings guard and WNBA star Paige Bueckers, highlighting the growth of the player who was a WNBA rookie in the most recent season.

In an interview with USA Today, Fudd had only positive words about her girlfriend, with whom she’ll spend a lot of time before they share the court again.
“I feel like she-the way that she just carries herself,” Fudd said of Bueckers. “She’s a great person, a great teammate. The way that she leads. The way that she carries her teammates if she’s gonna lead in like a personal way.”
When talking about Paige Bueckers’ communication style, Fudd said Bueckers has very specific methods for each situation, though she didn’t provide a concrete example.
“So she knows like, ‘Oh, I can talk to you this way,'” Fudd added. “She’s always going to be there, so I can push her this way or pick her up this way.”
Finally, Azzi Fudd briefly mentioned what she learned from playing with her girlfriend at UConn basketball, before their relationship became such a talked-about topic in recent months.
“I feel like what I learned from her was just the attention to detail she had to things,” Fudd said.
For now, Paige Bueckers has stayed busy attending sporting events or being very active on social media, so we can say she’s enjoying her time off as she prepares for what will be her second season in the WNBA.
