Oscar De La Hoya and the Christmas carol in which he mocked Canelo Alvarez
Taking inspiration from the song “The Twelve Days of Christmas”, as well as his news video blog in which he claps every time he changes the subject, the Barcelona 1992 Olympic medallist set out to create a peculiar Christmas carol in which he did not leave any of his opponents in peace, although he was particularly mocking of Canelo Alvarez and Imane Khelif, the gold medallist at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
The Mexican was shown as a “Mexican redhead duck”, in yet another example of how broken their relationship is, problems that particularly increased in the first part of the year, when the fighter was going to face Jaime Munguia
Such was the tension between the two that Canelo accused De la Hoya of trying to steal his money, while the American responded that he would take legal action, an intention in which no progress was made
In his song, the Golden Boy recalled Mike Tyson for his recent fiasco against Jake Paul, but more for the attributes he exhibited, Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney, Premier Boxing Champions, Khelif, Turki Al-Sheikh, Usyk vs. Fury, Eddie Hearn and Jake Paul.
