There is one boxer who stands out above all to face the Filipino Manny Pacquiao, the living boxing legend, in his next fight, which would be the second after his last return to the ring in July 2025.
Manny Pacquiao not only returned to the ring, but also launched the U.S. operations of his boxing promotion company, which will have two major events, one this October and another in November this year.

According to The Ring, Rolly Romero remains the favorite to face Manny Pacquiao, but Gervonta Davis and Conor Benn are also in the running. Manny Pacquiao may be close to a deal to fight Rolando “Rolly” Romero, but there are two other names under consideration to face the legendary Filipino in the near future.
Mike Coppinger of The Ring revealed on the latest episode of Inside The Ring on DAZN that Gervonta Davis and Conor Benn are also in the running.
Manny Pacquiao ended his retirement at the age of 46 this summer and fought to a hard-fought majority draw with WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.
However, the eight-division champion’s return to the sport will not end with that fight, as he is likely to face WBA 147-pound titleholder Romero in January.
If that fight does not materialize, Coppinger says Davis or Benn could get the assignment.
Gervonta Davis
Gervonta Davis will face Jake Paul in an exhibition fight streamed live on Netflix on November 14, 2025.
Conor Benn
Conor Benn will rematch Chris Eubank Jr. in a 12-round middleweight contest at The Ring: Unfinished Business the following day at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, broadcast live on DAZN PPV.
