After a whirlwind year filled with milestones, Simone Biles and her husband, Jonathan Owens, are finally catching their breath.

The pair started their journey with some quality time in New York before heading to Switzerland, then Miami, and finally reaching the scenic beauty of South Africa. Biles has been sharing her picturesque getaway with fans, offering glimpses into her romantic and adventurous honeymoon with Owens.
In South Africa, Biles and Owens immersed themselves in nature, encountering giraffes, zebras, elephants, and even the iconic lion on a safari. But their trip wasn’t just about tranquil moments with wildlife. They also sought thrills, including an exhilarating climb to the top of Cape Town’s DHL Stadium.
While Biles seemed to embrace the adventure, Owens admitted to feeling “terrified” during the climb.
The couple also enjoyed a relaxing evening, sitting together in nature while savoring a couple of sundowners. However, as all good things do, their honeymoon came to a close with Biles sharing a photo of her “last dinner here,” marking the end of their exotic getaway.
Looking ahead: More vacations or a new home?
Though their honeymoon may be over, it’s clear that Biles and Owens are far from slowing down. In a recent interview, Biles shared that the duo is already planning more travel for March.
“We’re going to do all the safaris, and then I think we’re going to try to plan another vacation at the end of March if we can,” Biles told FOX 26.
But if travel plans fall through, Biles has a thrilling backup plan: moving into their new dream home. The couple is set to move into their $3 million house, which has been in the works for quite some time.
According to Biles, the kitchen is already “absolutely stunning,” and the couple is waiting on the completion of their pool, basketball court, and game room-a space Jonathan Owens is particularly excited about.
While they’ve been living it up in South Africa, Biles recently shared a post that sparked speculation about the couple’s future. She posted a breathtaking beach view with a telling caption.
