Social media influencer and former LSU gymnast Olivia “Livvy” Dunne turned heads at the US Open on the weekend, alongside her best friend Ava Grace, they went to the prestigious tennis event.

The two were trendy on social media with playful tweets, cocktail in hand, and a funny tennis joke, all while Dunne had an eye on her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes.

Humor mixed with tennis passion

During defending champion Aryna Sabalenka’s game against Rebeka Masarova, Dunne and Grace were living the moment, so they went on TikTok and posted a clip that went viral online super quick. With the caption, “Serving as per usual,” Dunne demonstrated her typical combination of humor and charm, generating plenty of laughs from the public.

The witty banter and tennis references in the video was one of the most liked aspects of Dunne’s funny personality, something that has made her one of the most followed athletes on social media.

Paul Skenes’ things first

While the US Open was shining like a bright star, Dunne did not stay a moment without missing Skenes’ on-court play. She took to Instagram and shared a Story of herself live streaming the Pirates’ game from her phone courtside, captioning: “Gotta keep my priorities straight.”

Her timing was as perfect as it could have been, as Skenes dominated in the game , throwing seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts to lead Pittsburgh to a 4-0 win and solidify his status as a National League Cy Young Award contender.

Life after her gymnastics retirement

Dunne officially retired from competitive gymnastics in April of 2025 after a legendary LSU career left her as one of the most well-known collegiate athletes in the nation. She easily transitioned into culture spotlight since then, juggling brand sponsorships, social media stardom, and life in the limelight with Skenes.

Her presence at the US Open, where sports and fashion connect with life, is a sign that she has that amazing quality of remaining connected in all aspects.

The reason why fans connect with ‘Livvy’

From basketball courts to stadium seats, Dunne is still capable of connecting with her fans by combining her authenticity with charm. Whether she is making tennis jokes at a Grand Slam tournament, cheering on her boyfriend Paul Skenes, or enjoying her spare time with her friends, she always finds a way to turn ordinary minutes into interesting stuff.

Lets see how good os this upcoming season for Paul Skenes and the Pirates, but one thing is sure: does not matter where or when they play, they are always going to have a fan supporting and watching the games, and that is Olivia Dunne.
