On Saturday, July 19, 2025, the historic Wembley Stadium in London will be the scene of a rematch that will paralyze the boxing world: Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois II for the undisputed heavyweight title

Both have experience in the big leagues of boxing and will face each other for the WBC Silver heavyweight title, a belt that could bring the winner closer to a world title fight. But before that stellar duel, there are a number of fights that promise action, surprises and quality.

What is special about the Usyk vs Dubois II undercard?

The so-called “pre-fight cards” or undercards are not filler: they often contain high-level fights with championships at stake and up-and-coming young prospects. On this card, three high-caliber, strategically high-level fights stand out, adding meat to the fire before the climax in the ring.

Lawrence Okolie vs Kevin Lerena – Heavyweight with WBC Silver belt

  • Lawrence Okolie (211, 16 KO) is a former world cruiserweight champion, now in his second heavyweight fight.
  • Kevin Lerena (313, 15 KO),former bridgerweight champion and known for knocking Dubois down three times in 2022, arrives with great confidence.

This fight for the WBC Silver belt is a showcase of rising European talent, with two boxers who combine technique and power, and represent the new generation of heavyweights.

Daniel Lapin vs Lewis Edmondson – Undefeated in search of a name

  • Ukrainian Daniel Lapin (110), Usyk’s training partner, is looking to consolidate with a significant victory on his record.
  • Lewis Edmondson (110), the British and continental lightweight champion, arrives as an undefeated rival and determined to break the streak.

Vladyslav Sirenko vs Solomon Dacres – Heavyweight power clash

  • Vladyslav Sirenko, undefeated with outstanding knockout power (220, 19 KO), will challenge Solomon Dacres, an English boxer under pressure to make amends after his last defeat.

Abraham Hamed vs Ezequiel Gregores – Emerging Stars at Super Lightweight

  • Aadam Hamed, son of legend Prince Naseem, follows in his father’s footsteps with a perfect record (5-0) and aggressive style.
  • Ezequiel Gregores, an experienced Argentine fighter based in Europe, puts his career to the test against the new generation.

Lasha Guruli vs James Francis

  • In the preliminaries to the main card, the fight between Lasha Guruli vs James Francis (lightweight) stands out. Both come with undefeated or close to undefeated records, and with a dynamic style that fits perfectly to whet the appetite before the big names

Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2: Dates and times

The evening will take place at Wembley Stadium, which has a capacity of more than 90,000 spectators. The DAZN PPV broadcasts will begin at 12:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. BST, and the main card will officially begin at 6 p.m. ET. The main event is scheduled for around 4:45 p.m. ET / 9:45 p.m. BST.
