The tennis Grand Slam season is coming to an end with the final jewel in the crown, the US Open. Taking advantage of their stay on American soil, the New York Yankees continued their tradition of inviting great personalities from sports, politics and entertainment to throw out the first pitch of the game. On this occasion, the invitation was extended to the tennis player with the most Grand Slams (24) in history, Novak Djokovic.
However, the presence of the ‘Joker’ did not bring luck to the Yankees, who lost 6-3 to the Boston Red Sox.

The Serbian tennis player will make his debut against the American Lener Tien on August 24. It should be noted that Nole has won the US Open on four occasions (2011, 2015, 2018 and 2023).
