The full schedule for the 2025 NFL season will be released on Wednesday night, but as the league does every year, from the days leading up to and until hours before the big event, it announces some of the most important games.
The date for the full 2025 schedule reveal will be broadcast on a special beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday on NFL Network, NFL.com, the NFL app and NFL+, with analysis, guests and live reactions.
The teams have known their 2025 opponents since the end of last season, but they are all waiting for dates and times, after it was announced that the season kickoff will be with the visit of the Dallas Cowboys to the champion Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, September 4.
The matchups and dates for the international games are also known, and other duels expected by fans are those that will take place to commemorate Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Christmas.
What will the 2026 NFL Thanksgiving games be?
The NFL Thanksgiving 2026 will be in Week 13 and as every year, the Dallas Cowboys are one of the teams that can not miss, only this time, the NFL has already announced that they will host the Kansas City Chiefs at AT&T Stadium on Thursday, November 27 at 16:30 ET.
Fans will have to wait for the other two games of the day, where the Detroit Lions will be among the other Thanksgiving regulars.

The NFL announced on Monday that the 2026 Black Friday game will be between the Chicago Bears and the Philadelphia Eagles via Prime Video.

What will the NFL Christmas games be in 2026?
In the 2024 season, the NFL celebrated Christmas with three games and one of the matchups for the holiday season was revealed on Monday, with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting divisional rivals the Denver Broncos as part of Week 17 on Prime Video.
The NFL is planning a tripleheader for December 25, which this year will be on a Thursday, and the other two games will be broadcast by Netflix.
