NFL Pro Days 2026 Schedule: When are they and which universities are participating ahead of the Draft

The time has come for the prospects to impress scouts and define their professional future as they head to the NFL. The college season is over, the Combine has already left its first conclusions and now begins one of the most decisive moments on the road to the Draft: the NFL Pro Days 2026. For several weeks, scouts, coaches and general managers will tour college campuses to get a closer look at the league’s future stars.

What are NFL Pro Days and why are they key to the Draft?

NFL Pro Days are private workouts organized by each university for its Draft-eligible players to showcase their physical skills and potential to perform in the NFL.

Unlike the Combine in Indianapolis, where everyone competes under the same format, Pro Days allow prospects to work in controlled conditions: their own field, their own coaches and routines designed to maximise their performance.

Many important talents even decide not to perform physical tests at the Combine to reserve their best version for these workouts.

NFL Pro Days Schedule 2026

The circuit officially began on March 2 and will run through April, becoming the last evaluation window before the Draft, which will begin on April 23 in Pittsburgh.

March Pro Days to watch

Some of the universities most watched by NFL teams include:

  • Wisconsin: March 6
  • Oklahoma and Clemson: March 12
  • Georgia, Penn State and Stanford: March 18
  • Michigan: March 20
  • LSU and Miami (FL): March 23
  • Notre Dame: March 24
  • Ohio State: March 25
  • Florida and Pittsburgh: March 26
  • Tennessee: March 31

Key dates in April leading up to the NFL Draft

  • Indiana: April 1
  • Montana: April 3
  • Towson: April 10

The Indiana Pro Day is considered the most anticipated event on the calendar.

Prospects who could change the 2026 NFL Draft

Fernando Mendoza, the name that dominates the conversation

The Indiana quarterback arrives as the leading candidate for the number one overall pick. After a college season with 41 touchdowns, many teams want to confirm whether his accuracy and offensive reading translate to the professional level.

His session on April 1 could definitely define the order of the Draft.

The battle for the second pick in the Draft

While Mendoza seems to be established as QB1, the real battle is behind him. Teams like the New York Jets are evaluating elite defensive profiles, including:

  • Rueben Bain Jr., quarterback pressure specialist
  • Arvell Reese, Ohio State’s athletic linebacker
  • David Bailey, a dominant defender after a great 2025 campaign

Where to watch the 2026 NFL Pro Days in the US?

Unlike the Combine, Pro Days do not have centralized coverage. Coverage is distributed among:

  • Special Draft Programs
  • Official social media of universities and NFL teams
  • Digital platforms and sports streaming
