The full release of the 2026 NFL season schedule is nearing and will be announced on Thursday. To build up hype, the NFL has been dropping news of specific matchups to get fans excited. On Wednesday, less than one day away, the league revealed the full slate of games that won’t be played in the United States.

The NFL International Series has been gradually growing ever since it was first introduced back in 2007. This upcoming season, nine different games will take place on foreign soil. The countries that will welcome American Football to their domain will be Australia, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Mexico and Spain.

Dallas Cowboys will play Baltimore Ravens in Brazil during Week 3 of 2026 NFL season

Perhaps the most intriguing part of this season’s slate is that the Dallas Cowboys will take part in an international game for the first time since 2014, when they faced the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London. They will be heading to Brazil in Week 3, two weeks after the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams open the season in Melbourne.

  • Week 1: San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams – Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne, Australia
  • Week 3: Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys – Maracanã Stadium, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Week 4: Indianapolis Colts vs. Washington Commanders – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, England
  • Week 5: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, England
  • Week 6: Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars – Wembley Stadium, London, England
  • Week 7: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints – Stade de France, Paris, France
  • Week 9: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Atlanta Falcons – Bernabeu Stadium, Madrid, Spain
  • Week 10: New England Patriots vs. Detroit Lions – FC Bayern Munich Stadium, Munich, Germany
  • Week 11: Minnesota Vikings vs. San Francisco 49ers – Estadio Banorte, Mexico City, Mexico

Surprisingly, the Jaguars aren’t the only team with multiple international games this year. The Jaguars have practically become London’s team, having played there every season since 2013 (except the COVID year in 2020).

The 49ers will play two games overseas, traveling to Australia and Mexico in the process. Thankfully, Mexico City is much closer than Melbourne, so their Week 11 contest shouldn’t be too much of an adjustment.
