NFL International Games 2025: Dates, times, locations and everything you need to know

The NFL is packing its bags and heading overseas like never before. In 2025, seven regular-season games will be played on international soil-the most in league history-as American football continues its ambitious global expansion. This year’s tour introduces first-ever stops in Dublin and Madrid, while returning to established markets like London, Berlin, and São Paulo.

Unlike a college student backpacking to “find themselves,” the NFL knows exactly what it’s after: more fans, more markets, and more revenue. With every game played abroad, the league continues to reshape the world’s understanding of “football”-swapping round balls for oblong pigskins, one country at a time.

2025 NFL International Games at a Glance

Here’s a breakdown of each game on this season’s international slate:

  • Week 1: Chiefs vs. Chargers – São Paulo, Brazil
  • Date: Friday, September 5
  • Time: 8:15 p.m. ET
  • Venue: Corinthians Arena, São Paulo

The international kickoff game returns to Brazil, as Kansas City and Los Angeles bring their AFC West rivalry to the heart of South America. After the Eagles’ electrifying season-opener in 2024, São Paulo is back in the spotlight for a game that could set the tone for the entire season.

  • Week 4: Vikings vs. Steelers – Dublin, Ireland
  • Date: Sunday, September 28
  • Time: 9:30 a.m. ET
  • Venue: Croke Park, Dublin

Ireland hosts its first-ever NFL game, and it’s a meaningful one: The Steelers take the field in a country with strong Pittsburgh ties-late team owner Dan Rooney served as U.S. ambassador to Ireland. On the field, the matchup promises intrigue with rookie J.J. McCarthy likely under center for Minnesota and Pittsburgh’s ongoing QB competition between Mason Rudolph and Will Howard.

  • Week 5: Tripleheader in London
  • Vikings vs. Browns – Sunday, October 5
  • Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
  • Week 6: Tripleheader in London
  • Broncos vs. Jets – Sunday, October 12
  • Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
  • Week 7: Tripleheader in London
  • Rams vs. Jaguars – Sunday, October 19
  • Venue: Wembley Stadium

London remains the NFL’s international hub with three straight weeks of action. The Jaguars, often dubbed “London’s Team,” return to their home away from home, while the Jets, Broncos, Vikings, Browns, and Rams also take the stage.

  • Week 10: Falcons vs. Colts – Berlin, Germany
  • Date: Sunday, November 9
  • Time: 9:30 a.m. ET
  • Venue: Olympiastadion, Berlin

The NFL continues its strong push in Germany with a return to Berlin’s historic Olympiastadion. This matchup between Atlanta and Indianapolis promises speed, young quarterbacks, and a raucous European crowd.

  • Week 11: Commanders vs. Dolphins – Madrid, Spain
  • Date: Sunday, November 16
  • Time: 9:30 a.m. ET
  • Venue: Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Madrid

Spain becomes the newest country to join the NFL map, as the league makes its highly anticipated debut at Real Madrid’s iconic Bernabéu Stadium. The Dolphins host the Commanders in a clash that’s as much about cultural significance as it is gridiron action.

From South America to Western Europe, the NFL’s 2025 international lineup represents a turning point. With more games, more countries, and more fans than ever before, the league is no longer content to be America’s game-it’s becoming the world’s game.
