The NFL presents a Monday Night Football doubleheader that promises plenty of excitement from the start. Four franchises with different realities take to the gridiron in search of a second victory that will set the pace for their season.

The Houston Texans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders are the stars of this special Monday night with games scheduled at different times to maximize the audience and offer two high-voltage duels. From Houston to Las Vegas, the action of Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season is in full swing.

What time do the Texans vs. Buccaneers play today and how do they get to Monday Night Football?

The first duel of the day is between the Houston Texans (0-1) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) from the NRG Stadium. The game kicks off at 7:00 pm (ET) and will be broadcast live on ESPN and FuboTV in the United States.

Houston arrives with the urgency to recover after a 14-9 loss to the Rams, where quarterback C.J. Stroud threw for 188 yards with an interception and no touchdown passes. Tampa Bay, on the other hand, comes in with high spirits after a 23-20 win over Atlanta. Baker Mayfield led that victory with three touchdown passes and more than 160 yards. The game promises to be close, with the Texans slight favorites at home.

The second game of the doubleheader will be a divisional clash between the Los Angeles Chargers (1-0) and Las Vegas Raiders (1-0), at the spectacular Allegiant Stadium in Nevada. This game will begin at 10:00 pm (ET) with national broadcast on ESPN and streaming on FuboTV.

The Chargers are coming off a great game by beating the Chiefs 27-21 with a brilliant performance by Justin Herbert, who threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns. The Raiders also got off on the right foot by winning 20-13 against the Patriots, with Geno Smith passing for more than 360 yards. The rivalry, the offensive talent and the atmosphere in Las Vegas promises to have a great end to Week 2.

The NFL is once again going for a Monday Night Football doubleheader, and this September 15 slate does not disappoint with teams featuring young quarterbacks, developing offenses and much at stake to set the tone for the start of the season.
