The NFC East is set to be the focus of the 2025 in-season edition of Hard Knocks, as announced by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Wednesday. Following the success of last year’s division-wide coverage of the AFC North, the docuseries will now shift its cameras to the Commanders, Cowboys, Giants, and reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles. The series will premiere on HBO and HBO Max in December, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of one of the league’s most competitive divisions.

In previous seasons, Hard Knocks: In Season had featured individual teams, including the Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals, and Miami Dolphins. However, expanding the scope to cover an entire division allows fans to experience the rivalries, internal team dynamics, and season-long challenges that shape playoff races.

With the Eagles looking to defend their championship, the Commanders aiming to build on their NFC Championship Game appearance, and the Cowboys and Giants hoping for deep postseason runs, the 2025 edition is shaping up to be one of the most dramatic yet.

Inside access to everything

This expanded format also means fans will get access to key moments on and off the field, including midseason adjustments, injury recoveries, and strategic shifts as teams push toward the playoffs. Last year’s coverage of the AFC North showcased teams battling for playoff spots, with the Baltimore Ravens making a deep postseason run. A similar approach with the NFC East promises gripping narratives that will unfold in real time.

Notably, the NFC East has long been one of the most historic and high-profile divisions in the NFL, featuring powerhouse franchises and intense rivalries. With star players like Jalen Hurts, Dak Prescott, Jayden Daniels, and Saquon Barkley taking center stage, the show will give fans an exclusive glimpse at locker-room leadership, in-game strategy, and personal player journeys throughout the season.

As anticipation builds for the December premiere, Hard Knocks: In Season will offer a fresh perspective on one of the league’s most unpredictable divisions. Whether capturing high-stakes matchups, behind-the-scenes drama, or the relentless pursuit of postseason glory, the NFC East’s journey promises to be a captivating watch for football fans everywhere.
