New York Giants improves its defense and maintains a mediocre attack for the NFL season

The next season of the National Football League is approaching, and the New York Giants have completely restructured their defense. However, they neglected to bolster their offense ahead of the upcoming season, which is set to begin in early September; the Big Apple franchise’s offense still has much room for improvement.

New York signed cornerback Paulson Adebo and safety Jevon Holland, bolstered the defense with Abdul Carter and Chauncey Golston, and drafted a player with three-down potential: defensive lineman Darius Alexander. These moves demonstrate a clear plan to restore the defensive identity that propelled the franchise to its previous successes.

New York Giants’ offense ranked 31st in the NFL

Pro Football & Sports Network ranked New York’s offense 31st, behind only the Cleveland Browns. Considering the bewildering and indecisive approach the organization took in constructing its offense this spring, it’s not good company to keep.

“It appears the Giants have already hit rock bottom,” PFSN noted in its analysis. “They don’t have a lot of immediate potential, but talented players like Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Malik Nabers have shown enough to give us encouragement for the future.”

New York Giants consider trading Kayvon Thibodeaux

Among the names circulating in the team’s trade talks, linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux stands out as a prominent candidate. Analysts recognize the potential impact he could have on the Detroit Lions’ defense, advocating for a trade that could mutually benefit both sides.
