New photo of Caitlin Clark’s very strong arms leaves fans ‘praying’ for Angel Reese ahead of first game

As the WNBA season opener approaches, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are entering the spotlight and the 23-year-old is making sure she steps up in her new training video, leaving fans buzzing with excitement.

The team begins its campaign on May 17 against the Chicago Sky, in what will be one of the most anticipated early matchups of the season, particularly for the clash against fellow rookie standout, Angel Reese.

However, it’s not just the upcoming game that has fans talking, it’s Clark‘s striking physical transformation heading into her second WNBA season as the 2024 Rookie of the Year aims to kick on.

A recent sideline photo of the Iowa graduate during a preseason contest revealed a noticeably stronger and more muscular build, particularly in her upper body, quickly gaining traction online, with fans reacting to her visibly developed arm muscles.

One user wrote, “Those arm muscles wow.”

A second added, “Jacked.”

A third commented, “I love arms.”

And a fourth said, “OHHHHHHH MY GOSH.”

Clark burst onto the WNBA scene with immediate impact and averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game, leading all rookies in scoring and pacing the entire league in assists.

Now this offseason, she appears to have doubled down on her physical preparation in a bid to shrug off the amount of flagrant and technical fouls she was victim to in her debut year.

Known for her deep shooting range, floor vision, and relentless competitiveness, the new images suggest she’s added strength to her frame, something that makes her an even more terrifying prospect to contend with.

The Fever have also made a push too. The front office brought in Stephanie White as head coach and retooled the roster with veteran talents including Natasha Howard, DeWanna Bonner, and Sophie Cunningham to top up their roster.

The new additions join Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, forming a more experienced and dynamic lineup around the youngsters in Indianapolis but will it pay rewards for the team?

Can they push on for the 2025 WNBA title? Will they be able to depose the New York Liberty, who claimed their first ever championship against the Minnesota Lynx to round out 2024?

Where to watch Sky vs Fever?

Fans can catch the Indiana Fever against the Chicago Sky from around the United States live on ABC and Disney+.

Tip-off is 15:00 ET/12:00 PT at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse and is available to follow on radio at 93.1 WIBC.

Additionally, fans can watch online and via streaming at ESPN+.
