New Heights tailgate returns: Jason Kelce brings the fun to Philadelphia

Since stepping away from the gridiron, Jason Kelce has made it clear: he’s not done with Philadelphia, and he’s not done with its fans.

During a recent episode of his “New Heights” podcast, co-hosted with his brother Travis Kelce, he revealed that he will host a second-ever New Heights tailgate on November 28, Black Friday, at Lincoln Financial Field, and this time, his wife, Kylie Kelce, will be in attendance.

A tailgate built for fans, not just hype

The first New Heights tailgate took place earlier this season in Kansas City when the Eagles played the Chiefs.

That event was such a hit, according to Jason, that they decided to bring it home. He told listeners on the show:

“New Heights tailgate is coming to Philadelphia. That’s right the first New Heights tailgate in Kansas City was such a success that we’re running it back in Philadelphia.

“On November 28, you can spend Black Friday at the Linc not just watching the Eagles, but with New Heights, starting at 11:00 in Lot K. Travis Kelce will not be there. I might show up, I probably will be there.”

He also revealed a sweet follow-up: when Kylie reacted to their social media post saying, “Ooooo! Jason Kelce take me with you!!!” he confirmed, “Kylie‘s coming to the tailgate too … there we go.”

According to the podcast, the festivities will kick off at 11 a.m. in Lot K. The setup promises all the classic tailgate trappings, food, merchandise giveaways, a DJ, a photobooth, cornhole, and even a field-goal kicking contest.

Kelce still maintaining a connection to Eagles fans

This isn’t just another Eagles tailgate – it’s a bridge between Jason Kelce‘s on-field legacy and his off-field persona.

Since retiring in 2023, he’s become a multi-platform figure: working with ESPN on Monday Night Countdown, co-hosting the “New Heights” podcast, and even launching a late-night show titled They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce.

His connection to tailgate culture isn’t new. He’s famously joined Eagles fans in the parking lots even after retirement.

Back in 2024, he was spotted tossing beers and mingling with fans at the C6 tailgate before a Monday Night Football game.

The energy at Eagles tailgates is something that is special and chaotic.

He’s also reflected on his history with tailgate culture more publicly. On a past episode of New Heights, he joked about his “cursed” luck at parking lot parties, recalling wild moments with both Eagles and other fan bases.

Jason Kelce remains deeply embedded in the Philadelphia sports community.

For him, it’s not just about being a former Eagles player, it’s about building experiences that feel homegrown and accessible.

By making the event free and open on a first-come, first-served basis, he’s leveling the playing field for fans who might not otherwise get a chance to hang out in that way.
