Ever since Caitlin Clark arrived in the WNBA while still playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes, she has been stealing the spotlight.
After being selected first overall in the 2024 draft by the Indiana Fever and finishing her rookie year as Rookie of the Year with several records to her name, her second year in the league did not go as expected. However, she continues to lead the way.
Clark maintained her popularity in 2025
During the past season, injuries to her quadriceps, ankle, and groin limited the 23-year-old point guard, who still averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1.6 steals in the only 13 games she was able to play. Her last game was on July 15.
Despite this, the Fever star’s impact on the league is and continues to be undeniable, winning fans of all ages regardless of whether she is on the court or on the bench. Proof of this is the recent and revealing announcement by Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA).
The market-leading provider of sports card authentication, grading, and evaluation announced that among the highest-rated basketball cards, she took the top spot in the United States.
The Fever star led the way, ranking above prominent NBA figures such as LeBron James (LA Lakers) and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder), and even surpassing Cooper Flagg (Dallas Mavericks) and Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs) in almost every state in the country.
In fact, Clark’s name does not appear in only 12 states: Oklahoma, Oregon, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, Arkansas, West Virginia, New Jersey, Utah, Delaware, Massachusetts, and Maine.
Meanwhile, having recovered from her injury and participated in the US team’s training camp in December, Clark is ready to resume her place on the court and continue to lead in her third year in the league and with the Fever.
