The 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend is set to take over the San Francisco Bay Area from February 14-16, bringing three days of electrifying basketball action, star-studded matchups, and high-flying entertainment.

Hosted in partnership with the Golden State Warriors, this year’s event promises a fresh twist on the classic All-Star Game format while keeping fan-favorite events like the 3-Point Contest, Slam Dunk Contest, and Celebrity Game.

If you’re a basketball fan, this is a weekend you won’t want to miss.

Here’s everything you need to know about the must-watch events and how to catch all the action live.

Friday, February 14 – Rising stars take center stage

The weekend kicks off with a mix of young talent and celebrity fun.

The Rising Stars Challenge, showcasing the league’s best young players, will set the stage for an action-packed tournament.

  • 2:30 p.m. ET – Castrol Rising Stars Practice (NBA TV & NBA App)
  • 6:00 p.m. ET – Basketball Hall of Fame News Conference (NBA TV & NBA App)
  • 7:00 p.m. ET – Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game (ESPN)
  • 9:00 p.m. ET – Castrol Rising Stars Tournament (TNT & TruTV)

The Rising Stars event will feature a three-game format, with the championship round set for 10:35 p.m. ET.

The winning team will earn the final spot in the revamped All-Star Game tournament on Sunday.

Saturday, February 15 – Skills, shooting, and dunking madness

Saturday’s events will highlight individual talent, beginning with the All-Star Practice and the HBCU Classic before culminating in the highly anticipated State Farm All-Star Saturday Night.

  • 2:00 p.m. ET – NBA All-Star Practice presented by AT&T (NBA TV & NBA App)
  • 5:00 p.m. ET – NBA HBCU Classic: Morehouse College vs. Tuskegee University (NBA TV)
  • 7:00 p.m. ET – Commissioner Adam Silver News Conference (NBA TV & NBA App)
  • 8:00 p.m. ET – State Farm All-Star Saturday Night (TNT & TruTV)
  • Kia Skills Challenge
  • Starry 3-Point Contest (Damian Lillard aiming for a three-peat)
  • AT&T Slam Dunk Contest (Mac McClung chasing a third consecutive title)

Sunday, February 16 – The 74th NBA All-Star Game with a twist

The main event will feature a fresh format, moving away from the traditional East vs. West showdown.

Instead, four teams will compete in a mini-tournament, with one team made up of Rising Stars Challenge winners.

  • 2:00 p.m. ET – NBA Legends Brunch (NBA TV & NBA App)
  • 3:30 p.m. ET – G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T
  • 8:00 p.m. ET – 74th NBA All-Star Game (TNT & TruTV)
  • 8:20 p.m. ET – Semifinal Game 1
  • 9:10 p.m. ET – Semifinal Game 2
  • 10:00 p.m. ET – Championship Game

LeBron James extends his record with his 21st All-Star selection, leading the Western Conference starters alongside Nikola Jokic, Kevin Durant, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and hometown hero Stephen Curry.

The Eastern Conference will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo due to injury, but stars like Jayson Tatum, Donovan Mitchell, and Jalen Brunson will step up in his absence.
