The NBA All-Star Game is an annual exhibition basketball game featuring the league’s top talent. It serves as a showcase for the most skilled players in the NBA, but which of those skilled players have emerged victorious the most time?

The first NBA All-Star Game took place in 1951 with the aim of providing fans with a spectacle of high-flying dunks, dazzling passes, and remarkable athleticism. Since then, it has evolved into a highly anticipated event in the basketball world. Each year, fans vote for their favorite players to start in the game, while coaches select reserves.

The game itself is typically preceded by various other events, such as the Skills Challenge, Three-Point Contest, and Slam Dunk Contest, adding to the excitement of All-Star Weekend.

Throughout its history, the NBA All-Star Game has featured legendary players such as Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and many others, showcasing their talent on a global stage.

Beyond the on-court action, the NBA All-Star Game also serves as a platform for charitable initiatives and community engagement, with players often participating in events to give back to the host city.

A complete list of the winners

The Eastern Conference has the edge in the NBA All-Star Game with 37 wins compared to the Western Conference’s 29, at the time of the format change In 2017, which it will revert back to for 2024.

During the Team LeBron vs Team Curry/Durant/Giannis era, LeBron was a dominant force and won five in a row before Giannis‘ side finally ended his run with a 184-175 victory in 2023.

The new format for 2025 divide the 24 NBA All-Star selections into three teams of eight players each, with rosters picked by TNT analysts Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith. The fourth team feature the winners of the Castrol Rising Stars competition, made up of top first- and second-year players. The tournament unfold in a three-game format: two semifinals and the championship game.
