Myles Garrett next team odds: Where will the All-Pro defensive end land?

One of the NFL’s best defensive players has requested that his longtime team find him a new home.

On Feb. 3, the 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett officially requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns, releasing the following statement:

Will the Browns actually trade their franchise pillar? And if so, where to?

Let’s check out the odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Feb. 11.

Myles Garrett next team

Commanders: +350 (bet $10 to win $45 total)
Eagles: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Browns: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)
Bills: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)
Lions: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)
Chiefs: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)
Packers: +1100 (bet $10 to win $120 total)
Bears: +1100 (bet $10 to win $120 total)

Garrett, 29, went No. 1 in the 2017 NFL Draft and has spent the entirety of his eight-year career in Cleveland. He is a four-time first-team All-Pro selection, a six-time Pro Bowler, and as previously mentioned, won the league’s DPOY award in 2023.

Garrett has tallied at least 10 sacks in every one of his professional seasons outside his rookie year. He led the league in tackles for loss this past season (22) and over the last five seasons, he’s missed only four games.

So, why does he want out? Well, he hasn’t won much in Cleveland.

Garrett has played in just three playoff games during his eight years with the Browns, going 1-2 in those games.

If the most recent odds are any indication, Garrett will end up with a winner if he leaves Cleveland. After the Eagles won the championship, their odds jumped from +1000 last week to +500 this week, second on the board.

This past regular season, Philly was the best defense in the league. It was the only team in the league to allow fewer than 300 yards per game (278.4).

However, at the top of the board is Philly’s NFC East rival, the Commanders, who moved from +450 to +350 over the past week.

Washington was not the defense that Philadelphia was this season, but was still decent, allowing 327.9 yards per game this past season.
