Mookie Betts broke the silence of his prolonged slump with the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2025 MLB season.

The Blue Jays player’s negative streak has extended so far during this year’s MLB season.

What did Mookie Betts say about his prolonged slump with the Dodgers?

“You get so lost in it. I don’t know. You get so lost in it. Once you get into a rabbit hole – not a rabbit hole like you’re chasing something – but once you get so deep, up is so high that you just don’t care anymore. Obviously, yes, I want to play better. But where I was and where I am now, it’s as different as night and day.”, Mookie Betts Los Angeles Dodgers player.

“I’ve never done this. It’s all new. I’ve never been this bad for this long. It’s very difficult. I haven’t figured it out. So obviously it’s super hard. But I will say one thing, I definitely love the process. I definitely love the process of trying to figure out who I am, where I am, the work. I haven’t found it, and it’s a shame. Going out there every night, going four zero, that part of the day really sucks. But all day long, I’m here working and hitting, and I love it. I love that. It’s the best part.”, said Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
