The history of baseball is still being written, but legends are never forgotten. In MLB The Show 25, fans can pay tribute to the greatest figures of the diamond with special content that honors the members of the MLB Hall of Fame.

With revamped game modes, next-level graphics and challenges that relive historic moments, the 2025 installment of the MLB video game is a love letter to the legacy of baseball’s greats.

What is the Hall of Fame in MLB The Show 25?

MLB The Show 25 introduces a host of features that elevate the experience for longtime MLB fans. Under the slogan “The stage belongs to today’s greats!”, this edition not only celebrates active players, but also pays tribute to the icons who are already in the Cooperstown Hall of Fame.

MLB The Show 25: Exclusive Modes for Legends

Among the most notable content are the exclusive modes dedicated to Tony Gwynn, Pedro Martinez, Derek Jeter, Randy Johnson and other unforgettable figures. Players will be able to take on the role of these legends in themed challenges that replicate their most epic moments in Major League Baseball.

Diamond Dynasty: Collect the Immortals

Many people’s favorite mode, Diamond Dynasty, is updated to collect Hall of Fame cards with enhanced skills and unique features. These cards feature special artwork, commemorative animations and stats that reflect their best seasons.

Which Hall of Famers appear in MLB The Show 25?

  • Ken Griffey Jr.: His swing is still one of the most elegant in the game.
  • Mariano Rivera: The greatest closer of all time returns with his devastating cutter.
  • Chipper Jones: A versatile infielder with lethal offensive skills.
  • Roberto Clemente: An emblem of fair play and a defender of social causes.
  • Satchel Paige: A legend of African-American history in baseball, now playable in vintage modes.

The new members of the 2025 Hall of Fame

  • Ichiro Suzuki was elected on the first ballot with 99.7%, becoming the first Japanese inductee.
  • CC Sabathia, immortalized on his first attempt with 86.8% support, stood out for his 251 victories and more than 3,000 strikeouts.
  • Billy Wagner, a dominant closer, entered his 10th ballot with 82.5% of the vote.

Dave Parker and Dick Allen were also honored by the Classic Era Committee.

How to access Hall of Fame content in MLB The Show 25?

The cards are available for a limited time during July and part of August. Some are unlocked by online performance, while others require the completion of weekly objectives. There is also an in-game direct purchase option for those who don’t want to wait.
