The Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in Major League Baseball has a rich history, recognizing outstanding individual performances that significantly impact their team’s success.

Since its inception as the Chalmers Award in 1911, to its current incarnation established in 1931, the MVP award has honored players who exhibit outstanding all-around service to their team.

Throughout Major League Baseball history, several elite players have won multiple MVP awards.

Who has the most MVPs in MLB?

Barry Bonds is at the top, winning the most MVP titles: seven in total and four in a row between 2001 and 2004.

Bonds’ achievements span illustrious seasons with both the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Francisco Giants, showcasing exceptional offensive prowess and leaving an indelible mark on the sport.

In total, Bonds finished his 22-year Major League career with the most home runs with 762, as well as 2,558 walks and 688 intentional walks.
