One standout result came as the Toronto Blue Jays stunned the New York Yankees with a decisive 10-1 victory. This game, part of the opening round of the series, set the tone for an exciting postseason.

The Milwaukee Brewers took advantage of the fans’ scandals

The Milwaukee Brewers kicked off the NLDS series with a commanding performance, crushing the Chicago Cubs 9-3 at American Family Field. Milwaukee dominated early, putting the game out of reach in the first two innings by scoring six runs in the opener and adding three more in the second, setting the tone for a decisive victory.

The Los Angeles Dodgers delivered a stellar performance in the NLDS opener, proving critics wrong after a shaky regular season. Against the Philadelphia Phillies, the team’s roster showed depth and resilience, with Yoshinobu Yamamoto emerging as the standout player and solidifying his impact in Game 1.

The game concluded with a solid 5-3 victory for the Los Angeles Dodgers, who pulled away in the sixth and seventh innings, scoring two runs and three runs respectively to secure the win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Their late-inning surge proved decisive in taking Game 1 of the NLDS.

A intense victory of the Detroit Tigers over the Seattle Mariners

Without a doubt, the most intense and closely contested game of the ALDS opener featured the Detroit Tigers against the Seattle Mariners. The matchup, widely regarded as the best encounter of the day, remained deadlocked until extra innings, where the Tigers finally seized the lead to secure a thrilling victory.

The battle was fierce at T-Mobile Park, where the Seattle Mariners, despite being the home team, fell 3-2 to the Detroit Tigers. The game remained tied 2-2 through the first 10 innings, until Zach McKinstry delivered a clutch hit, allowing Kerry Carpenter to complete the run that secured a dramatic extra-innings victory for Detroit.
