Mike Tyson could have a new fight, after losing to Jake Paul, to which Tyson Fury gives his approval

Legendary former boxer Mike Tyson could be returning to the ring for a new fight amid growing rumors. This hypothetical fight has begun to take shape after his defeat to Jake Paul due to his rivalry with Tommy Fury, brother of champion Tyson Fury. This clash would even have been approved by Tyson Fury himself, who stressed the historical relevance of facing Mike Tyson, even at 58 years of age.

Tommy Fury, known for his ups and downs in professional boxing, has changed his stance on a fight with Mike Tyson, as he initially expressed doubts about the idea, highlighting the respect the former champion deserves and his advanced age. However, in a recent podcast with strongman Eddie Hall, Tommy seems to have changed his mind.

If someone offers you 50 million pounds, what are you going to do? If someone comes to you with 50 million, you’re going to fight a 60-year-old man.

This indicates a change of opinion and a new openness probably influenced by the business model and success that Jake Paul has had in media fights against renowned opponents.

Tyson Fury backs fight against Mike Tyson

At a recent International Boxing Association (IBA) event, Tyson Fury spoke to the press and backed the idea that Mike Tyson could return to the ring for a high-profile fight.

He acknowledged that Tyson is past his physical prime, but emphasized that the honor of sharing the ring with a living legend like Mike Tyson is still very valuable.

They’re not real fights now, but just being able to say you fought or trained with Mike Tyson is a big deal

How much money would Tommy Fury get if he fought Mike Tyson?

Fury also indicated that both fighters would receive a considerable sum for the fight, which represents an important economic incentive for an event that would undoubtedly attract the attention of the public.

Tyson Fury seems open to seeing how this possibility develops, especially after the success Jake Paul has had in selling flashy fights, mainly in his fight with Mike Tyson, in which Paul would have pocketed close to $40 million, so the possible figure of $50 million for Fury seems excessive but not impossible.
