Micah Parsons heading to the Chicago Bears? Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys on the verge of making a huge mistake

Several storylines from this offseason have already been resolved, but one remains up in the air and is making Dallas Cowboys fans nervous: the contract future of Micah Parsons, the team’s defensive star and one of the most outstanding players in the entire NFL. The linebacker is aiming to become the highest-paid player in the league among non-quarterbacks.

In recent months, players like Myles Garrett (defensive end for the Cleveland Browns), Ja’Marr Chase (wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals), and more recently T.J. Watt (linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers) have signed contract extensions worth over $40 million per year. Watt leads that list with a salary of $41 million per year, and Parsons is looking to surpass that figure.

So far, Parsons has maintained a professional attitude-he has been present at practices and hasn’t caused a scene. However, through his comments, frustration is starting to show-something that could end up costing the Cowboys dearly.

Analyst believes the Chicago Bears could go after Parsons

There’s no doubt the Chicago Bears are looking to take a leap forward in 2025. It will be the second year for their No. 1 draft pick from last year, Caleb Williams. There’s also high excitement surrounding Ben Johnson, who arrives as head coach after making a name for himself as the offensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions.

The Bears need to improve their pass rush. Beyond Montez Sweat, they don’t have much depth, which is why Sports Illustrated suggested that the Chicago Bears should make a serious effort and take advantage of Micah Parsons’ frustration to bring him to the Windy City.

A defensive duo of Parsons and Sweat would be a luxury. And if Austin Booker takes a leap forward in his second year, it would be an even more attractive scenario. A lot would have to happen to make this a reality, but Chicago could be a very good destination for Micah Parsons.

The former Penn State star has been shining in the NFL since his rookie year in 2021, and since then, he’s racked up 52.5 sacks in his first four seasons.
