Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe‘s contract with Colin Cowherd’s “The Volume” has expired, and industry insiders told Front Office Sports that several suitors are ready to sign Sharpe to a deal worth more than $100 million.
A few hours after that news, Parsons took to social media to respond to anyone suggesting he “leave the podcast”. “Leave the podcast Micah,” Parsons was told.

Jones claims to have spent “five or six hours with him,” discussing guarantees, contract length and total value in face-to-face meetings, according to Dallas Cowboys writer Tommy Yarrish.
Although there is already a general agreement on the framework, Jones insists that “there is no urgency” and prefers to “pay more and do it right” rather than rush to sign a contract.
In 13 games last season, Parsons recorded 12 sacks and 43 tackles, and two forced fumbles, which ranks him among the best quarterback hunters in the league.
In 63 career games, he has recorded 52.5 sacks, has been selected to the Pro Bowl four times and has been named to the First Team All-Pro twice since his debut in 2021.
