A 20-year-old Mexican, a promising boxer in his country, was taken from his life in the state of San Luis Potosi, allegedly at the hands of a relative in a fight that ended very badly.
The young boxer was reportedly attacked with a machete at his home on Fleming Avenue, Nuevo Progreso neighborhood, south of the capital of San Luis Potosi, where thanks to the wounds caused by this bladed weapon, the young man reportedly died at the scene. Josue David Hernandez was a young boxer also from San Luis Potosi, considered a promising boxer in Mexico. Unfortunately, his dreams of becoming a professional were snatched away on the night of Tuesday, December 2, after an alleged family quarrel where he was attacked with a machete at his home where allegedly a relative was the one who attacked him and ended his life.
David had excelled in boxing from a young age, a sport he began to practice from the age of 15, participating in events such as the FENAPO and the Jhons Club, where he won several of them. Hernandez even had exhibition fights and sparred to be in the best possible shape with a debut planned for 2026 that will no longer be possible.
