Lionel Messi did not respond to Logan Paul, but his bodyguard, Yassine Chueko, accepted the fight on his behalf, but Paul backed out claiming that he was only joking as part of a publicity and marketing stunt.

Yassine Chueko posted a video on Instagram signing a fight contract that featured a $15 million purse. He then unpacked a pair of boxing gloves adorned with the name ‘Lolo’, shouting: “Lolo! Lolo, look what I got. Lolo, when I hit you, you’re going to have your name on your face, Lolo.”
“Everyone is waiting for the fight. And you, still hiding. I’ve received messages from all over the place. Africa, America, Europe, everywhere. And you’re still hiding. Lolo. Sign the contract and don’t tell me to come to Puerto Rico. Let’s fight here in Miami at Chase Stadium.”
