Messi subsequently extended Inter Miami‘s lead in stoppage time. In the third minute of stoppage time, Morales, who came on as a second-half substitute, found Messi inside the box with a precise through ball.
The legendary Argentine attacker sent the ball into the back of the net with a first-time left-footed finish to secure his second goal in the Concacaf Champions Cup 2025. It is worth noting that the assist was Morales’ first with the Club’s first team.
