Mbappe and Real Madrid remain unbeatable

Real Madrid continued their perfect start to the season by sinking Levante 4-1 on Tuesday night. The win sees Xabi Alonso’s side improve to 18 points from their first six matches, five up on rivals Barcelona who play Real Oviedo on Thursday.

Vinicius opened the scoring for Los Blancos in the 28th finish with a delightful finish with the outside of his foot, while Argentine youngster Franco Mastantuono opened his account with his new side just before the break.

Just when it seemed Real would cruise to victory, Etta Eyong reopened the match for Levante after the restart by taking advantage of some bad defending from Xabi Alonso’s side.

Fifth goal of the LaLiga season

Unfortunately for Levante their hopes of getting anything from the match ended 10 minutes later when Real were awarded a penalty that was converted by Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman put the contest to bed two minutes later by finishing a Real counter, his fifth goal of the LaLiga season so far.
